Founder & CEO
Shahar Waiser is the Founder and CEO of GetTaxi. He is a 6 times entrepreneur, who founded and built six companies in the U.S., Russia, and Israel. These include the Russian version of "Groupon," Vigoda.ru, which is one of the largest daily deal sites in Russia, operating in 94 cities,and rated 15 in Forbes magazine's top Russian e-commerce companies. Loyalize, another of his companies was a social engagement & loyalty start-up based in San Francisco (acquired by Viggle [NASDAQ: VGGL]). Waiser formerly served as CEO of Russian operations at publicly traded Comverse [NASDAQ: CMVT], where he achieved a record of $300 million in sales. Passionate about computer programming since his childhood, Waiser obtained a BSc. degree in Computer Science in Tel Aviv before moving to the Silicon Valley.
Roi More is one of GetTaxi’s Founders. Over the years Roi has founded several leading Internet ventures, and was involved in many other web-based projects including Kamay Holdings which was acquired by 888.com [888:London] and MyLotto.com, the leading lottery affiliate network. Together with Waiser, More also co-founded the Russian version of "Groupon" - Vigoda.ru, which is one of the largest daily deal sites in Russia, operating in 94 cities, and rated 15 in Forbes magazine's top Russian e-commerce companies.
Tal Brenner is the CFO of GetTaxi. Brenner is a former Financial Manager and Controller for Dan transportation, where he managed the finances of several public companies and joint funds for both Dan and the Israeli ministry of transportation. Brenner is a certified Aikido expert who finds throwing other martial artists across the room relaxing after a long day wrestling with financial figures.
Jing Wang Herman
SVP USA / UK
Jing Wang Herman is the SVP for GetTaxi's UK operation, the CEO of Gett USA and a licensed NYC taxi driver. Prior to launching GetTaxi’s US operations, Herman was a Vice President in JPMorgan’s Strategic Investments team where she led principal investment deals in technology companies. In her role at JPMorgan, Herman was named in Forbes' 30 Under 30 in Finance.
Mark is GetTaxi Israel's CEO. Mark brings 10 years experience in management and sales. Formerly, Mark led the GetTaxi Sales teams and was responsible for the development and sales of the Israeli market. Mark is also a dedicated surfer, who roamed beaches around the world and befriended easy-going sharks.
Vladimir Marinovich, the CEO of GetTaxi Russia. Prior to that Vladimir served as CEO of Vigoda.ru, one of the leading daily deal companies in Russia, operating in 94 cities and ranked 15 in Forbes' list of Russian largest e-commerce companies. Previously Vladimir held an executive position in sales and retail in "Russian Standard", one of the largest retails companies in the industry.
David Sayag leads GetTaxi R&D, focusing on the entire value chain, from amazing user and driver experience to enterprise-class, large-scale infrastructure. David has 17 years of mobile, software, networking and product experience, serving at executive R&D and product management positions in 3Com, Sheer Networks (now Cisco), ICQ and as founder at Enure Networks.
David Drai was CTO of Akamai [NASDAQ: AKAM]. Before, he was CTO and co-founder of Cotendo which was bought by Akamai for 300$ million. He also has expertise and holds multiple patents for content management and network technologies development.
Alex was the VP product of Zlango. Prior to that, Alex founded and was the CEO of EV-Plus Ltd. that developed a platform for social gamers. Alex earned his MA in Clinical Psychology from Ben Gurion University and although there is no couch in his office, many GetTaxi employees find their way to the former psychologist to discuss their childhood traumas and bubble gum phobia.
Coming from two renowned brands, L’Oreal and more recently Google, Rich is now tasked with developing one. Having helped Google Chrome to become the worlds most popular browser he now has the reigns of all of GetTaxi's marketing. Rich is a keen kitesurfer, fan of outrageous socks and a secret tech geek.
Ron Srebro is the VP of Innovation for GetTaxi. Srebro calls upon over 14 years of programming experience to continuously innovate GetTaxi designs and bring to market the next generation of GetTaxi products. Among his many technological specialties are experiments with context-aware application designs.
Merav Schlesinger Falik
Merav is the VP of Human Resources for GetTaxi. Previously, she was a Human Resources Business Partner for the international software company Retalix [NASDAQ: RTLX]. She is also the former HR Manager for Broad Digital Software Industries.
