A New York City cabbie rescued a man who fell on the subway tracks at 135th Street in Harlem last week.
An Army reservist at Fort Toten, 38-year-old Isadore Branham was on his way to work during the 6:45am early-morning commute when he suddenly heard people screaming that a man was laying on the tracks. He spotted Timothy Moriarity, 57, lying drunkenly on the train tracks, as reported by the New York Post.
Mr. Branham told WABC that, ”We have a saying where we leave no man behind, and he’s a man that shouldn’t have been left behind in any circumstances,”.
Branham jumped into the tracks and brought the man to safety with the help of 10 other passengers, EMS arrived shortly after.
We at GetTaxi know that a New York City cab driver is capable of taking on any crisis situation!
