Today, we are a global virtual taxi grid across three continents with game-changing technology and an unbelievable customer experience that takes transportation to lofty new heights. We’ve motored through some of the world’s biggest metropolises, including London, Moscow, and Tel Aviv, picked up over 6,000 taxi drivers, and gained $30 million in funding along the way. Already, at peak times, someone, somewhere, is taking a GetTaxi ride every second.

But, we’re only just getting started. The tank is still full of gas! We’re about to bring the GetTaxi revolution to all major cities in the United States, and we have many more countries firmly placed in our headlights.

 
HOW IT WORKS

A free app for iPhone, Android and BlackBerry, GetTaxi allows you to order a taxi, wherever you are, directly from your smartphone (well, in cities where dispatch for taxis is allowed, of course). No more phone calls. No more waiting in line. GetTaxi will pinpoint you on the map or use the location finder to pick from popular landmarks around you. Let the smart Radar show you all available taxis in the area, and once your ride is confirmed, you’ll be able to see your cab on its way to you in real-time.

Pay for taxi rides from within the app, tip your driver and have receipts go directly to your email. Need to book in advance? No problem. Simply schedule a time and a taxi will be right there. You can also rate your driver, view previous journeys and earn Taxi Miles towards free rides.
